The Mission

Philips had initiated a $5m annual Master Data Governance Initiative, and did not have the necessary internal expertise and resources so ICM America was brought in to manage and staff this important initiative, where needed.

Establishment of the Master Data Governance Program
Building of a Master Data Hub for Material Master
Identified Master Data domains and Master Data entities
Developed and delivered an assessment and strategy for Master Data Entities
Prioritized entities and established internal sponsors
Developed long term strategy for each domain
Established tiered system to include roles and accountability with both centralized teams and local teams
Established root fields of governance and the maintenance of those entities
Building of a Master Data Hub for Material Master on an ECC Platform connecting 4 SAP manufacturing and one global Sales and Services SAP systems
Global Change Management and Training support for the SI for Change Management
As Prime for the MDG Program, ICM supervised the different SI’s involved in the delivery
